I have been wanting to try my hand at a pheasant for quite some time. I grew up hunting pheasants with my family in Richfield Utah, I have
very fond memories of chasing these birds. I came across this awesome photo courtesy of Adam Haarberg, big thanks for the collaboration!

Got a pretty good start on it, I chose do do someting different with the background, hoping it was a good decision..

It feels like it is starting to come together a little bit, not quite sure what I am going to do with the foreground, but  I am loving the colors on the breast.

I guess this is what I will do with it, I think I can make it work...

I believe I will call this one done.
